There are more and more companies selling fake CBD oil claiming to be able to squeeze more CBD into a bottle than it is physically possible. Here’s how I spot them.
“Our CO2 cold-pressed raw hemp extract is mixed with pure organic cold-pressed hemp seed oil in order to optimize the absorption and the effectiveness of this potent plant. Mixing the two ingredients, which are sourced from the same plant, creates the ideal synergistic formula. This improves the bioavailability and benefits of the hemp plant extract.”
This is what I found on one of the websites selling fake CBD/Hemp oil. They claim they have 35000 mg in a 30 ml bottle. The other claim is co2 extraction method for hemp oil - which is pure economic nonsense. Fortunately this one is easy to spot as cbd and its health benefits are well advertised at the beginning of the product description but cleverly not mentioned on the packaging.
No. The product description is misleading and the packaging overly suggestive especially for novice CBD users. Also 35000 mg in a 30 ml bottle is a bit overly optimistic, but this is not a full blown fake. This is just a hemp oil you can but for 15 quid a liter.
But it gets better as Chinese manufacturers love to lie to their european customers. They did it for years with power banks that had capacity for Tesla car battery or memory cards with faked capacity software and markings.
Just have a look at this 135000 mg in a 60 ml bottle. As far as i know there is only 1 liquid with enough density to pack 135 g in 60 ml volume. It is mercury and I wouldn’t drink it. Fortunately the sorry doesn’t end here. I’ve found one with 12 liters of hemp oil in a 30 ml bottle.
There is only one rule: always follow the money.
CBD extraction using the critical co2 method is pricey. The cost of 1000mg of extracted CBD ranges between 30 and 50 Pounds Sterling. When you see 12000 mg for 100 quid you know it’s bullsh*t. You’ll be lucky getting 3000 mg CBD oil for this price.
More experienced CBD users already know the industry standards of 500, 750, 1000, 1500, 2250 and 3000 mg per packaging and advised dosage does not exceed 70mg/day.
